It's a huge responsibility and privilege to serve the next generation and lead them closer to Jesus. Here are a few ways we connect with the children in our community:
Nursery (Birth to 2 Years)
Childcare is provided for our tiniest visitors in a safe, peaceful, and comfortable environment (birth to 2 years).
Preschool (Ages 2 to 5 Years)
Our littlest students have a blast every Sunday learning worship songs, hearing Bible stories, and engaging in fun and creative activities.
Elementary (1st - 5th Grade)
Kids from 1st grade to 5th grade grow deeper together in their knowledge of the Lord through listening to Bible stories, participating in engaging activities, and learning memory verses.
Faith and Friends Club (Wednesdays)
The Faith and Friends Club meets Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-2:30 at Gladstone Elementary School. Students engage in a weekly bible study, sing, learn memory verses, and participate in games.
We are training our amazing youth to be like Jesus. It is our heart to raise up raising up the next generation of young disciples and world changers through worship and the word (and having a great time while we're at it!). We meet Wednesday nights at 7pm.

Worship through song is an integral part of the overall worship experience at Lifehouse. The only reason we come together each week is because we share the privilege and honor of thanking and glorifying the one, true, awesome God - through the Word, through song, and by the way we love and serve our community.
While the team strives to improve musically and dynamically, it is of utmost importance that each team member is sincere in their worship. We do not want to put on a performance for the church - we only seek to praise our God. Scripture tells us that our act of worship is the offering of our very selves (Romans 12:2). Therefore, our songs reflect our heart of service to the Father - a commitment that is to be lived out daily.

Lifehouse has a heart to bless our community and to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
A Trash Can Can Make a Difference
Each month we highlight a different need and fill our designated bin with various items to give to our community. So far, we have had the privilege of blessing our neighbors (some even as far as Myanmar) with everything from food to school supplies and we look forward to finding new ways to extend the kingdom through giving.
Lifehouse is a globally minded church that develops and launches solid, Christ-focused world-changers. We are proud to support our missionary, Naomi Hokyo, both spiritually and financially as she is currently serving in Myanmar.
If you would like to find out how you can join us support Naomi, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
I recently came across the statistic that "girls are 6 times less likely to become child brides when they stay in school." While I don't have the exact statistic I'm certain the same can be said about girls being sold into sex slavery or human trafficking. When families see their children are able to receive an education they are able to see the possibility for a better future. I firmly believe that education not only helps develop countries - it saves lives.
It is this deep belief and passion for bringing education to remote places that led me to accept the position of Director of Education for YWAM Myanmar a few months ago (shortly after celebrating 1 year of being in the country - my "Burma-versary"). While I was initially daunted by the title, God confirmed quickly that this is indeed what he as called and created me for.
While my new "title" has various responsibilities I primarily have been overseeing a learning center which teaches English and other skills to young adults. In our street kids ministry we are continually looking for ways to improve and in the next couple months we will be starting a preschool in the heart of the slum. I have also continue to do teacher training and sometimes travel to different village areas. Each of these things fulfills my passion for teaching God's Word and seeing it put into practice. I love keeping busy and all the beautiful people I have the privilege of meeting along the way.
I am so excited for all that God is doing and the potential for bigger and greater things that I know are going to happen soon! Last week Myanmar had it's first democratic election in decades - it was a peaceful event which people celebrated as a new-found privilege. Please continue to pray for a just government to rule the country in righteousness.
Please also keep me in prayer as I lead others in this area of training in education. There are many new projects that we are wanting to start and I need wisdom and strength to know how to do it all.
As always - thank you for your love and support!
